Affini Consult is an independent property advisory for buyers at the Kenyan Coast. We help people evaluate locations, understand risk, and acquire property that fits what they’re actually trying to achieve, whether that’s a property already in front of them, or one we help them find.

OUR BACKGROUND

We saw the problem up close. So we built a better way.

Affini Consult grew out of direct, on-the-ground work with coastal property buyers and sellers, and from watching the same mistakes repeat across transaction after transaction. Buyers rushed by manufactured urgency. Titles that did not match the person selling them. Land purchased for a view or beach access that later proved not to be guaranteed. Diaspora clients relying on well-meaning family members or informal contacts who were not actually representing their interests.

Affini exists to close that gap: to give buyers the quality of local insight and considered analysis they need before committing their money, whether the property is one we are marketing or one they have found elsewhere.

  • Coast-based. We operate where the properties actually are, giving clients access to local market understanding and on-the-ground insight.
  • Buyer-first thinking. Every property is assessed against the same standard we would want applied if we were acquiring it ourselves.
  • Independent judgement. We are prepared to say when a property does not fit, even when that advice costs us the transaction.

Ground-Level Intelligence

We operate on the Kenyan Coast and evaluate property in its local context. That means looking beyond the listing to understand the area, access, pricing dynamics, neighbouring uses and concerns that may not appear in the documents.

A property is only as dependable as the process used to assess it. We help coordinate the necessary legal, survey and on-ground checks so that ownership, boundaries, access and other material concerns are examined before a buyer commits.

Evidence-Led Advice

Our recommendations are informed by documents, site observations, market evidence and the buyer’s intended use. Where the facts do not support an acquisition, we are prepared to say so clearly.
